Employment Opportunities
WE ARE HERE TO PROVIDE A LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT ENCOURAGES EXCELLENCE.
Charged with teaching more than 500 students in two excellent buildings—a K-6 Elementary School and a 7-12 Junior/Senior High School—Harlem Public Schools is one of the largest employers in Blaine County. We have 61 certified staff members and 36 classified staff members, which translates into an excellent Student-to-Teacher Ratio. We also boast a technologically rich environment and all students have access to computers.
The community of Harlem, Montana, is located between Havre and Malta in the scenic Milk River Valley. Close to the Little Rocky and Bears Paw mountains, we’re a farming and ranching community only 45 miles from the Canadian Border. We’re also close to Fort Belknap Indian Reservation, and a large number of our students live there. These students and their parents are extremely proud of their Native American Heritage.
There are many cultural events to attend throughout the year, including many Pow-Wow’s. Harlem High is the site of the only Seed Show left in Montana. The seed show is an agricultural fair occurs annually. Harlem abounds in wide-open country and big skies with excellent hunting and fishing and is a great place to live.
