Welcome to Harlem Schools for the 2021-2022 school year.
I know the last few months have been difficult, but I believe together we can move forward in a positive way.
For those of you who may not know me, this job brings me full circle. I started my teaching career in Harlem in 1990, and now I am grateful to be returning as the Superintendent in 2021. I believe all the experiences I have had in the years in-between will help me provide effective leadership for Harlem Schools.
My focus will always be on making the best decisions for our kids. I want to build relationships and partnerships that will provide opportunities and support that will help our kids be successful. I know we can do more if we work together.
I am enjoying reconnecting with people I know, meeting new people, and sharing my excitement about being back with Harlem Schools.
It feels good to be home and I am looking forward to a great school year.
